Long Distance Paths

Several Long Distance Paths pass in or near Kirkby Stephen, notably Wainwright's famous Coast-to-Coast path and Lady Anne's Way. Two long circular paths also pass through Kirkby Stephen, the Pennine Journey and the Roof of England walk. The Pennine Way passes through Keld which is 10 miles away. Kirkby Stephen is a Walkers-are-Welcome town.
